HOW DOES THE NACANI RELAX BUDDY WORK?
Why?
Dogs can be trained to associate certain scents with calmness and relaxation. Their brains have two states: the thinking state and the reflexive state. The goal is to keep the dog in the thinking state so that you can have a positive effect on it when it’s stressed or anxious. This is where our nacani Relax Buddy comes in.
How?
Place the Relax Buddy next to your dog, uncovered, 2–3 times a day for about 4–6 weeks, for approximately 30 minutes (longer is always fine) while he is dozing or sleeping. Please remove the scent stick before he wakes up or comes out of his relaxed state. Note: Please use the scent only for relaxation purposes and for nothing else.
When?
Once your dog has been successfully conditioned, the Relax Buddy can be used to calm them down in stressful situations. Typical situations or triggers include: car rides, thunderstorms, visitors, being left alone, encounters with other dogs, rough play, vet visits, New Year’s Eve, and much more.
